FAQs on Halal Training

How do I register for Halal Foundation Programme?

Step 1:

Read through the description to see which type of Halal Foundation Programme is suitable for you or your staff. There are three types:

1) Supervisory (for personnel with a supervisory role and a diploma or above)

2) Non-Supervisory in English language

3) Non-Supervisory in Malay language

The content of the three types is similar. However, the assessment structure for Supervisory differs from the Non-Supervisory. The dynamic of the class may differ too.

Step 2:
Click on the "Please Choose a Course Date" Dropdown List and click the desired course dates.

Step 3:
You will see the course details for the dates you chose. Find a green clickable link "Register (Individual)". It is above the location map. The course is fully booked if you see "We are no longer accepting registration for this course" instead. Please choose another date by repeating Step 2.

Step 4:
Ensure you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for successful registration. Ensure that all details are correct. Upon completion of registration, the contact person will receive a Course Registration Acknowledgement Email. The details on payment methods, terms & conditions and other important details are in the email. MUIS will send an invoice within the next few working days.

Step 5:
Payments are to be made to MUIS. Please refer to FAQs on payment methods. Please send payment proof (scanned copy of the receipt, interbank transaction, scanned copy of cheque) to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. After verifying that payments are well-received by MUIS, WHL will trigger a Course Confirmation Email. Details on the course venue will be included.

We advised payment to be made via interbank transfer or nets transaction at MUIS to avoid such situation.

You may collect the certificate from us once the payment is verified. We will provide the details in writing. Unfortunately, we are not able to mail out the certificate.

When can I collect the Certificate of Achievement?

An email will be sent to the contact person once the Certificate of Achievement is ready for collection.

Can I collect the certificate on behalf of another person?

Yes, you may collect the certificate on behalf of another person. Kindly fill up the Authorisation Form and bring it along, together with your NRIC, upon collection.

You can only collect the Certificate of Achievement without the Authorisation Form if you are collecting for yourself. The Authorisation Form must be filled up if you are collecting on behalf of someone. You may download the form by clicking here: Authorisation Form.

I have lost my Certificate of Attendance/Achievement. Can I request for a reprint?

Can I request an additional copy of the Certificate of Attendance/Achievement?

Is there any training grant available?

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that there are no training grants available at the moment for Halal Foundation Programmes.

However, two of WHL's corporate programmes; Develop and Maintain Halal File workshop and Internal Halal Audit Workshop are available for training grant or Skillsfuture Credit claims.

COMPANY-SPONSORED

Companies will need to submit the claims to WDA for the training grant upon course completion. The company will need to submit the claims through Skillsconnect account. The training grant available is $2 per hour.

SELF-SPONSORED

From 19 May 2017, participants are not allowed to make payment upfront to Training Provider and claim the course fee via SkillsFuture credit.

You can make the payment to Warees Halal Limited, through Skillsfuture Credit portal. Please click here for more details.

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses.
