In November 2016, Singapore Ministry for Trade and Industry (MTI) launched the Food Manufacturing Industry Transformation Map (ITM) with the vision to develop Singapore into the leading food and nutrition hub in Asia with globally competitive food companies. Halal has been identified by the MTI as one of the potential growth areas and can be a new product extension for the food manufacturers to compete better in the global arena and to ride on the burgeoning Halal industry.
In light of this development and opportunities in the Halal industry, Muis Halal Certification Strategic Unit (Muis HCSU) and Warees Halal Limited (WHL) are pleased to launch “Halal Clinic”. The Clinic aims to facilitate and provide information and guidance to existing and new Muis Halal Certificate Holders or organisations that are considering to be Halal certified through direct interaction with our Halal officers. It consists of 3 components – Halal Application, LicenceOne and Halal Training.
Entry to the Clinic is strictly by registration. Participation is complimentary and based on first come first serve basis. Successful registrations will receive a confirmation email before the commencement of the Clinic.
