Most of the time, organisations assume that it is sufficient to ensure their ingredients are supported with Halal certificates. However, there are other types of supporting documents that can be used to substantiate the Halal status of your ingredients such as the Halal questionnaire, product specifications and laboratory analysis report.
Additionally, the Halal team of the organisation must be able to ensure traceability between the raw materials items and the supporting documents. The inability to do so may lead to prolonged certification processing or even rejection of the application.
In this session, we will share how you can perform traceability checks between the raw materials and supporting documents obtained.
